I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. "Why?" my daughter asked. "Because it's been laying outside, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?" "Uh," I was thinking quickly, "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy." We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. "OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy." "Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face and joy in my heart.

[ image disabled ] Here are the RULES we expect all palyers to follow while on the LD server We expect that all LD players set the example and ensure they follow all the rules to the letter. 1 UNCAPABLE FLAGS The uncaps are set up to balance the game It give the side that has no flags a base from which to get started. The uncap is designated by the circle with the line through it. (supprisingly some people don't know this) 1) DO NOT SIT OUTSIDE THE AREA AND FIRE INTO THE UNCAP WHILST IN ANY VEHICLE. 2) DO NOT ARTY THE UNCAP OR ATTACK THE UNCAP IN ANY VEHICLE This includes dropping jeeps on the choppers, planes or people. You can drop vehicles on assets 3) DO NOT ATTACK PLANES/CHOPPERS AS THEY SPAWN OR AS THEY TAKE OF FROM THE UNCAP You can use transport IE chopper/vodnick to go to the uncap but can not use them as weapons. You should only go to the uncap to either destroy their assets or to steal their armour/chopper etc, but you must not use these vehicles to kill anyone in the uncap area or as you leave the area.. 4) DO NOT SHOOT THE AA's WITHIN THE UNCAP AREA. You can chase planes/choppers fleeing to the uncap for repairs. Chasing planes back is at your risk Uncapable spawn points with no circle are fair game. i.e the small island on Wake. 2 TEAM KILLING 1) DO NOT INTENTIONALLY TEAM KILL ANYONE, ESPECIALLY FOR A VEHICLE Wait at the spawn point, who ever gets in when the plane/chopper spawns owns it. (It will be impossible to manage on a first come first serve basis) 2) ANYONE WHO DELIBERATELY STANDS IN FRONT OF A PLANE AND PUNISHES IF THEY ARE KILLED WILL BE KICKED ON THEIR FIRST OFFENSE. If they come back and do it again they will be banned. The same goes for anyone who deliberately team kills anyone for any reason. Lets just make sure it is deliberate i.e. they stand in front of you and shoot you. 3 SPAWN CAMPING Most of us have sat in a tank at Mashtuur City and Strike at Karkland or in a chopper at the TV Station on Sharqi or had the pleasure of bombing the last flag on Wake in a plane I think we have to accept this as part of the game and just live with it. It would be to difficult to determine what constitute spawn camping. As I said most of us have laughed with glee at the slaughter and mayhem when we have had the opportunity 4 ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR/ GENERAL CONDUCT/PUNISHING 1) DO NOT WRITE ABUSIVE MESSAGES TO OTHER PLAYERS. If they are doing the wrong thing on this server, we can and will kick them. 2) DO NOT PUNISH FOR ACCIDENTAL TEAM KILLS Remember people make mistakes and 99% of the time when you are killed by an a player it is an accident. No one is perfect. Remember 2 punishes and you are kicked. 3) WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO KICK AND/OR BAN WITHOUT EXPLANATION OR DISCUSSION ANYONE WE FEEL IS NOT FOLLOWING THESE RULES OR BEHAVING IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER. THIS SERVER IS FUNDED BY THE LOST DIVISION So we can control the game within limits and hope to make it as enjoyable as possible for everyone including the non LD players. We may add or make changes to these rules from time to time so please check in occasionally to be kept up to date. PLEASE NOTE THAT PLAYERS MAY BE KICKED FROM THE SERVER TO MAKE ROOM FOR LD MEMBERS. If this happens it is nothing personal so please try and rejoin later if slots are available. We will endeavor to kick the person with the lowest score and/or highest ping first. ENJOY THE GAME |
