Hullo all! Don't know if you guys would remember me but I used to play under the name ::AsS:: Skutteh or Sku77eh or some crap (or you may remember PoKeH of the same clan as he played more I think).

Been getting hell into BC2 and it made me get all nostalgic for some BF2

tried to find LD to see if you guys were still going strong. Shame to see your server is down now

Bad Company 2 is awesome but the weak-ass map sizes make you miss the real "Battlefield" where its actually like... a Battlefield. Without choke points.

Anyway if you guys play BC2, you're all welcome to jump in the server I'm running for my community, to find it just search for "MMGN" (including caps). We play Hardcore and change between all the modes, depending on how pissed off I get at people pretending Rush is Call of Duty and sniping constantly... BF3, where are you?

Big hello to Mick/Underbelly and Rob/kernow_rob if you guys are still here!

Hi Skarteh. Thanks for the heads up re your server. I do remember pokeh. BF2 was immense fun, but lack of players on the server, well everyone has to move on. Nice of you to drop in.

he played BF2 a lot more than me so I figured you'd remember him. Probably after having a jet blow its load on you hehe

And yeah I remember you, and pretty much everyone from LD!

BF2 was epic, my main issue with it was always the infantry combat. Thats largely been addressed in BC2 (minus the lag) so a true successor to BF2 would be cocaine addictive!

Anyway if anyone wants to follow me via in game friends on BC2 my Soldier name is "Skarteh" (not the [MF] one). But finding the MMGN server is no challenge.

I added rob, (or tried about 5 times, hopefully one got through) and tried to add Mick but I'm not sure it was him.

Good news guys
Game servers finally emailed this morning with the news that a game server was available in Sydney.
Cosideering how popular and reliable these hosts are allegedly, I wasted no time in booking a non ranked BF2 server. This will allow ranking on AIX2 and will be half of our present cost.
They will email when server is up and then AIX2 etc will need to be installed and configured and ranking set up etc. Won't happen "instantly"
