I Have an error that comes up when my pc starts up or even restarts. it states : can not connect to file system.incd service not running?

Does it actually get into Windows? Gets to Windows loading screen?

It sounds like its running Adeptec In-CD. If it is, go to add remove programmes in control panel and remove it. You don't really need it and it can clash with Windows cd write

Adaptec or Nero?
Either way as Alf said get rid of it through add/remove programmes. if it is part of your Nero install you can actually remove it by going to the Nero start menu item and clicking on nero product setup then setup >modify and set incd to not available.
If that still does not help then
start>run> services.msc
And look for InCD in the services list, then set it's startup type to disabled.

Adeptec In-CD, dont have but nero is the program that i use to burn with? so what do you ppl use.

The full version of Nero 7 when I have too (for DVD's mainly). Otherwise for data and ISOs I use ImgBurn or for audio Burrrn.
Puzzled that InCd is installed as I thought it was disabled from installing by default because it is a total pain in the arse.
Oh and probably best to avoid Nero 8 it is so bloated and slow it is not funny.

As an alternative for DVDs have a look at DVDFlick, like ImgBurn and Burrrn it is free.
