well windows is all installed but for some reason i can not for the life of me get the second graphics card to read ive swaped the cards arround and they both work got them in slot 1 and 4 both pcie 16x slots updated drivers dunno what the hell to try now.my psu has 1 cable with an 8pin and 6 pin cable in 1 and in the box the cards came in they gave me a 6pin conector to 8 pin so have that pluged into the second card as well any ideas?

Old drives are fine Blacky. An SSD may make game load times faster so long as the game is installed on the SSD too, which is a bit of a pain given their limited size. I prefer the SSD cache drive setup rather than a boot drive SSD. Either the OCZ Synapse or the new Corsair Accelerator.

Not as fast as a pure SSD boot drive but allows for everything installed on your boot standard drive to be accelerated without the space ,imitations of an SSD.
